YOU WILL FIND THESE MINUTES EXTREMELY SHORT AS ONLY ONE COLONY OTHER THAN MY OWN ATTENDED. WHILST I APPRECIATE THAT SOME MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN IT IS DIFFICULT TO PUT TOGETHER DISTRICT ACTIVITIES WITHOUT YOUR INPUT. THE MEETINGS ARE FOR SHARING IDEAS FOR BOTH DISTRICT AND COLONY ACTIVITIES AND YOUR INPUT IS VALUED.
Matters Arising
21 May 2011 – Experiment afternoon, unable to evaluate this as 9/21st did not attend.
Bush Craft Activity Saturday 18th June. unable to evaluate this as 9/21st did not attend.
Children’s University
Jenny has had one child asking for a book to be stamped.
Forthcoming Activities
15 October 2011 – activity afternoon at Blindman’s Wood, 2-4 pm. Cost £1.50 per child. Plymouth Play Association’s scrap store will be running a junk modelling activity. Jenny and Lauren decided the theme should be ‘The Sea’. Leaders are asked to bring along a simple supporting activity in case of need. Lauren will bring an origami base, Jenny will provide a biscuit decorating activity and possible a sand tray for making sand castles. Colonies attending 27th Ply, 9/21st , 29th and 30th Ply. ANYONE ELSE LET ME KNOW AS A MATTER OF URGENCY.
Father Christmas Activity – planned for 18 December, you will receive more information as the venue and train are booked. It is anticipated that the cost will remain the same - £5. Colonies attending 9/21st and 27th Ply. ANYONE ELSE LET ME KNOW AS A MATTER OF URGENCY.
Magic Show – 28th January 2012 at Blindman’s Wood from 2-4pm, cost £1.50. Wishy Washy will be joining us again. Colonies attending 9/21st and 27th Ply. ANYONE ELSE LET ME KNOW AS A MATTER OF URGENCY.
